Historically membership access was in a complete WordPress environment. Through a series of mergers and acquisitions and with regular company growth a solution was needed that was secure, cost-effective and could handle continued growth.
Paid subscribers could access their subscriptions, portfolio data, training videos and more via a membership portal. This web application was built in react and acted as hub for content across all businesses managed by Legacy Research LLC.
The web application framework is flexible to allow for branding and white-label options for independent publishers at the brand domain level but also robust to offer access to all content at the parent business level.
All businesses would benefit from shared updates and available features such as web notifications, bookmarks, dynamic targeted ads, portfolio data filters, media library for video courses, and dynamic content based on subscription.
This web application framework is part of a headless CMS project that allowed the company to retain familiar publishing practices with WordPress as a CMS (internal-only publishing access). Data was synced to MongoDB for a series of APIs and the presentation layer of this decoupled CMS was built in React for the web and React Native for a mobile application framework.
